The French brand Peugeot, although well known for its cars, also focuses on the development, production, and marketing of motorcycles through its subsidiary Peugeot Motocycles. In fact, it is likely the oldest motorcycle brand still selling bikes today, pioneering motorcycle manufacturing.
The history of Peugeot dates back to the early 19th century when Jean-Jacques Peugeot began producing coffee grinders. Later, his sons established a metallurgical factory dedicated to manufacturing various types of tools and parts.
In 1882, Peugeot began marketing the first Grand-Bi bicycles (bicycles with a large front wheel and a much smaller rear wheel), and later, in 1901, produced its first motorcycle. It was not until 1953 that the company started producing its first scooters, continuing to do so to this day.

Peugeot currently offers a wide range of scooter models, with options from 50 cc to 400 cc. Some of them feature a dual front wheel, greatly enhancing riding stability, including the Metrópolis SW, GT, ALLURE, and ACTIVE models, all at 400cc.
In the 125 cc category, there is an extensive selection including the PULSION, DJANGO, and TWEET models, not to mention the moped range with the DJANGO, TWEET, SPEEDFIGHT, and KISBEE models. There is also the small urban electric E-LUDIX, with a range of up to 50 km and a charging time of 4 hours.
